On the occasion of Milan MuseoCity and in conjunction with the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, Kartell celebrates the connection between design and sport with a special display dedicated to the K 101 ski rack in the window of its Milanese flagship store.
Created in 1950, the K 101 ski rack, the first object produced by Kartell, designed by Carlo Barassi and Roberto Menghi and made with Pirelli patented materials, represents a perfect balance between technical innovation and creative spirit and is a tribute to the passion for skiing and the mountains.
As part of the event, the Kartell Museum opens to the public on Saturday, February 28, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a guided tour starting at 3:30 PM.
A free shuttle service will be available from Milan for the occasion, with the following schedule:
2:30 PM – Shuttle departure from the Kartell Flagship Store, Via Carlo Porta 1
3:30 PM – Guided tour of the Kartell Museum
5:00 PM – Return to Milan, Kartell Flagship Store
