The love for beauty and the passion for what is good, well-made, with care, with a thought that translates into action, are the ingredients that bring to life Kartell x Marchesi 1824, an exclusive collaboration that unites two stories of Italian excellence. On one side, Kartell, an interpreter of an aesthetic that knows how to combine innovation and lifestyle, and on the other, Marchesi 1824, a symbol of high-end Milanese pastry-making and a tradition that for almost two centuries has transformed sweetness into art.
Together, the two brands give shape to a unique project that celebrates Christmas as a multisensory experience, made of shapes, flavors, lights, and materials. Beneath the cloche of La Coupole, designed by Fabio Novembre for Kartell—an object that pays homage to the majestic Italian domes, symbols of eternal beauty and shared intimacy—the Marchesi panettone is unveiled, prepared according to the ancient recipe and embellished by the mastery of its pastry chefs, led by pastry chef Diego Crosara. The transparency and lightness of the design dialogue with the richness and softness of the dough, in a play of balance that tells the story of the beauty of Italian craftsmanship. The heart of the collaboration is precisely the chest of La Coupole, which guards the panettone like a treasure, a centerpiece-sculpture that illuminates the table and prolongs its magic far beyond the holidays. Not just a simple container, but a design gesture that celebrates the ritual of conviviality and transforms it into an aesthetic act.
