Tokyo: Sparkle and Tokujin ambassadors for transparency
An installation at the “Tokyo Midtown Design Touch”
Tokujin Yoshioka pays homage to Kartell and its transparent designs with a scintillating installation at the “Salone in Roppongi” exhibition, part of the Tokyo Midtown Design Touch event.
Fifteen years after the brand first launched its transparent models, the Japanese designer is advocating its clear aesthetics and technology through the Sparkle collection, his latest creation and the continuation of a project that reflects the concepts and philosophy embraced by Kartell.
The enormous exhibition space is dotted with pure glass Sparkle stools and side tables whose waves refract shimmering lights that dance around the room, bringing to life a breathtaking and touching installation.
