Papyrus, la chaise c'est chic!
After Cologne, on to Paris, for the Maison&Object; PAPYRUS, designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Kartell was launched with a dedicated event inside the Kartell flagship on Boulevard Saint Germain. The special guests of the event were brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullect, who said the following about their chair: “We feel that Papyrus is an unusual and remarkable chair due to the aesthetic and conceptual approach; an extreme amount of care has been given to its surface and tactile effect at every step in the process. Normally the public tends to consider plastic to be an ephemeral material, yet the subtle ruling of the frame gives the illusion of a precious crystal, enriching the quality of the chair itself.” Lastly, a dedicated corner housed “Glue Cinderella,” the new collection of plastic ballet flats designed by the Italian brand .normaluisa for Kartell.
