Kartell is paying tribute to the world of Patricia Urquiola with an event hosted by the Paris flagship, for the 2013 Maison&Objet.

After years of tests and experiments, the Comback is finally arriving in stores, a reinterpretation in a modern key of the Anglo-saxon Windsor chairs of the 18th century. Available in four different models, four-legged, sled, rocking and swivel, and in many new shades, Patricia Urquiola’s creation lends itself to to most varied decors, bridging the gap between traditional and contemporary styles.

Then there is Foliage, the new armchair that completes the collection of the same name, joining the sofa which came out in 2011. The chair’s design, which has interwoven leaves with specific stitched embroidery, rests on slender coloured round legs, which call to mind a tangle of branches.

These are thus two newest items, along with the Jelly collection, the Frilly chair, the Matelasse vase and the T-Table side table, creations which symbolize the designer’s touch and aesthetic sensibility.
