Paris: Kartell in “Déjeuner sur l’herbe”
“Kartell in tavola“ arrives in the market
For Maison et Objet 2015, Kartell dedicates the set-up of its Flagship store at 242 Boulevard Saint-Germain to the market launch of the “Kartell in tavola” collection, with its unconventional and playful interpretation of the art of the table, re-creating a lively picnic under golden trees with soft tablecloths.
An explosion of colours where Jellies Family, I.D.Ish by D’O and Namasté reveal their versatility and user friendliness in line with the product philosophy of the brand.
A display window is dedicated to each collection in a clever mix of Kartell products, creations and accessories echoing their style and nuances. Pastel colours for the Jellies Family: lilac, green and pale blue arrayed on Kartell fabrics and accessories set up a romantic, almost surreal, atmosphere. Quite another pace, however, for the display of I.D.Ish by D’O where the traditional red and white chequered tablecloths re-create the classic outdoor picnic in nature while space is given to fantasies in black and white in the setting reserved for Namasté.
The tribute to these three new collections is carried on inside the store with an area specially dedicated to actual table settings “Kartell in Tavola” style on the Invisible tables by the Japanese designer, Tokujin Yoshioka.
