The Invisibles by Tokujin Yoshioka
For the Milan Furniture Fair, with a decade of “invention” using transparency under its belt, Kartell is staging a new stylistic approach to “invisible furniture”. Inside Kartell’s Milan flagship store, the style and poetic visual language of Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka have created an ethereal atmosphere, in which a series of unique pieces have been displayed, all combined on the one hand with the lightness of being completely transparent, and on the other, with the exquisiteness of huge, solid, strong and square forms. Sizes and thicknesses never before seen in polycarbonate design pieces.
