Mademoiselle wears Missoni!
Kartell 2005 new products now in production
An entirely new attire for the comfortable chair, in fabrics from the Missoni Home collection, created by Rosita Missoni
There are three versions: Vevey, which has multicoloured kaleidoscopic flowers in red or blazed tones, and Cartagena, a black and white graffiti flower print.
Mademoiselle was created from in-depth technologies and production processes, along with a meticulous analysis of the structural properties and compatibilities between plastic materials, both functional and formal, which led Kartell to speculate with Philippe Starck about combining two different plastic materials, which only seem foreign to one another: polycarbonate and polyurethane.
Mademoiselle therefore pairs, through an innovative solution, transparency and softness, aesthetics and comfort, a refined look and durable functionality. The chair is made of fabric-upholstered polyurethane, while the base structure is made of clear polycarbonate.
This year there’s something entirely new, elegant and fresh, thanks to the collaboration with Missoni Home.
