Kartell has personalized Philippe Starck’s Mademoiselle theatre chair to furnish the rooms of Maison Moschino, the label’s new concept hotel, which opened during fashion week in late February at Viale Monte Grappa in Milan.

The Mademoiselle chair was added to the rooms, which are an ode to surreal fantasy, just like the brand’s creations.

“Wallpaper” is the Mademoiselle upholstered in a gold brocade fabric, the same one that fully furnishes the “Wallpaper” room, for which the chair was appropriately created. “Il Fiocco” however, is the Mademoiselle from the namesake room, whose furnishings are decorated with coloured flakes.

All of the hotel’s interiors are inspired by a specific dreamlike vision of fairytales, asking guests to surrender to the reverie.
