Kartell on display at Palazzo Reale
Kartell classic pieces on show at the Fondazione Cosmit “Camera con vista – Arte e interni in Italia 1900-2000"
The show “Room with a view – Art and interiors in Italy 1900-200”; organized at Palazzo Reale da Fondazione Cosmit in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan and the Office of Culture, represents the art and furnishings produced over one hundred years of Italian style. From 18 April to 1 July, the mood and taste that animated and inspired the great Italian culture of art and design of the last century to date is recreated in the room at Palazzo Reale: the divisionist and futurist painters, the great masters of the twentieth century and the neo-avantgardes of the seventies, the stars of postmodernism of the eighties, and the youngest talents now internationally recognized. Anna Castelli Ferrieri’s modular “Componibili” pieces, Zanuso Sapper’s 4999 chairs, Joe Colombo’s 4867 and Carlo Bartoli’s 4875, and the wall elements outfitted by Spadolini, all strictly white, alongside pictures and installations by architects and designers, celebrate a century of great Italian tradition.
