A double prize for Kartell president Claudio Luti

For the annual Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair, one of the biggest and most interesting meeting places for Nordic design worldwide, Kartell returned to the Swedish capital with a special event at its flagship store located at Ingmar Bergmans Gata 6. Ferruccio Laviani was a guest of honor, along with his latest creation for Kartell: the exotic and artistic TAJ table lamp. Drawing inspiration from the form of an elephant tusk, TAJ is more than a lamp. It is a three-dimensional sign, a light sculpture. Spectacular on or off, Taj uses LED technology to optimize and reduce the light source to a minimum whenever possible. It also marks a new step forward in Kartell’s technical challenge to produce an object with this unique know-how.
