A colourful archipelago in the heart of Cologne

2012 Good Design Awards

The 2013 IMM fair in Cologne ended on 20 January. Kartell participated with many new offerings and the great traditional classics.

The stand was designed as an extremely colourful archipelago, in which the visitor was shuttled from one island to another, in a kind of trip through time.

Tokujin Yoshioka’s Invisible Table, Patricia Urquiola’s Foliage and Comback and Piero Lissoni’s Zooom were the latest products that were presented as part of the German fair, along with the Jelly collection, Abbracciaio candelabras and Only Me mirrors, pieces which have just entered into production.

Kartell is thus strengthening its presence at the IMM Cologne year after year, promoting a contemporary aesthetic which favours strong technological content and technical innovations.

In Germany, Kartell has 5 flagship stores, 6 shop-in-shops and 320 retailers, thanks to an efficient distribution network and the ongoing attention to design that the German public has demonstrated.
