IMM Cologne 2011
Kartell made in Milan
In order to be closer to its customers and strengthen relations in the region, Kartell has made a successful return to the Cologne fair, held from 17 to 23 January 2011, presenting the glamour, creativity, and 100% “made-in Italy” industrial technology of its latest creations to the German market. The renewed presence at the Cologne Fair and the opening of its flagships over the last few years are an attempt to demonstrate the Company’s desire to deepen its roots in the German market. Over the next few months, proving the Company’s clear intention to continue to grow and strengthen its distribution network in Germany, Kartell will open two new shop-in-shops in Nuremberg and Bremen.
Furthermore, there will be an exhibit from 17 to 23 January 2011 at Kölnischer Kunstverein dedicated to Tokujin Yoshioka, who was just named “Designer of the year” by the renowned German magazine Architektur Und Wohnen, paying tribute to his industrial design work, including the “interwoven” Ami Ami chair designed for Kartell in 2009, and a series of works of art, of which the undisputed spearhead was Kartell’s The Invisibles Collection.
