Philippe Starck’s new provocation was bound to seduce the bravest and most anti-conformist minds in fashion. Shortly after visiting the stand at Salone del Mobile, Dolce&Gabbana ordered 50 for their showroom, and Karl Lagerfeld snapped up 70 to furnish the “salle de bal” of his “hôtel particulier”. The room will also be photographed for the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar. The new Louis Ghost looks set to enjoy a career of successes and society events.
