Comback and Shibuya win the Good Design Award 2014
Kartell receives the sought-after Chicago Athenaeum award
Comback and Shibuya win the Good Design Award 2014, the sought-after made in USA award promoted by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.
The armchair bearing the signature of Patricia Urquiola comes in four different structural variants (four legs, rocker, sled and swivel leg) and six pastel colours and is perfect for either private or contract use. The container/vase by Christophe Pillet is the fruit of the designer’s first collaboration with the brand and is an important technological achievement for how the different bands of colours are assembled seamlessly on the surface of the material. The result is an impeccable mass-produced decorative item in plastic which embodies the preciousness of blown glass as if it had been crafted by hand.
