Cologne IMM 2006
Kartell presented the new projects by Ferruccio Laviani and Piero Lissoni in a truly special show in Cologne. There were Chinese shadows and play with the effects from the lamps: Easy, Fl/y, Take, Bourgie, Gè and E’, all created by Ferruccio Laviani. Alternating between black and white, a play of words and movement by Trix, an eclectic object designed by Piero Lissoni. The two shop windows were dedicated to the lamps, and inside the space had a great effect and strong theatrical impact: Chinese shadows were projected on the walls, enhancing the communicative and dreamlike value of these objects. The central room was dedicated to Trix, an eclectic upholstered item which, through simple movements, depending on desire and need, can be turned into a pouf, chaise lounge or handy bed. A simultaneously simple and complex object, whose movement suggests a pleasant play of words: One…Two…Trix, Un…Deux…Trix, Uno…Due…Trix, Eins…Zwei…Trix.
