We wish to inform you that Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 (the "Personal Data Protection Code") provides the protection of persons and other entities with regard to the processing of their personal data.
In accordance with the aforementioned legislation, such processing is based on the principles of propriety, legality, transparency and protection of individuals' privacy and rights. Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, information concerning the use of the personal data provided by you or otherwise acquired by us in the course of our dealings is provided below.
1. PURPOSES AND METHODS OF THE DATA PROCESSING
The data provided by you are processed via manual, IT and electronic tools, using logics and methods strictly related to the sale and delivery of the products listed in the Kartell catalogue (including in relation to administrative or fiscal obligations). The data will be processed in compliance with the rules of confidentiality and security provided for by law, including in the event of any communications with third parties. Kartell may contact the data subject in order to obtain any additional information needed to implement their request and to establish the conditions of sale for the selected Products.
2. COMPULSORY NATURE OF DATA TRANSMISSION AND CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSAL TO RESPOND
Transmission of the data by you is compulsory in order to be able to perform the operations set out in point 1. Failure to agree to this and the resulting lack of authorisation to use your data will result in Kartell being unable to implement your request.
3. SCOPE OF COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION
Your data may be communicated to employees tasked with processing the data for purposes relating to the activities set out in point 1, and to parties tasked with managing the www.kartell.com website and providing related services (including marketing, IT systems, administration and the sales department). The data provided will also be transmitted to the company that manages activities relating to the payment process and the parties responsible for logistics services.
4. THE DATA SUBJECT'S RIGHTS
Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 grants you, as a data subject, the following rights:
a) the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of your personal data, even if they are not yet recorded, and the communication of said data in an intelligible form.
b) the right to be informed of: the origin of the personal data, the purpose of their processing and the methods used; the logic applied in the event of processing performed with the aid of electronic instruments; and the identification details of the data controller, the data processor and the parties or categories of parties to which the data may be communicated or which may access the data in the capacity of data processor or party tasked with processing the data.
c) the right to obtain an update, adjustment or supplement to the data, to have the data deleted, to have data that was processed illegally anonymised or blocked, and to obtain a certification that such operations have been brought to the attention of any parties whose data have been communicated or disseminated.
d) the right to object to the processing of your personal data on justified grounds or if said data are used to send advertising material, for direct marketing or for the performance of market research.
5. IDENTIFICATION DETAILS OF THE DATA CONTROLLER
The Controller of your data is Kartell S.p.A., in the person of Roberto Lucà, domiciled at the registered office of Kartell S.p.A., which you may address to exercise your rights as per Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003. The names of any additional data processors can be obtained from Kartell S.p.A.
I, the undersigned, declare that I have received the information pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, in particular with regard to the rights granted by the law pursuant to Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, and agree to the processing of my data using the methods and for the purposes indicated in the information notice, and in any case strictly related to and useful for the management of our contractual relations.
